Dave Van Horn Dave Van Horn
Head Coach

He came to Arkansas from Nebraska where he led Nebraska to its first two College World Series appearances in 2001 & 2002. Van Horn was Baseball America's national coach of the year and Big 12 coach of the year in 2001 and was conference coach of the year in 1995 and 1997 at Northwestern State where he won two Southland Conference regular-season titles. Van Horn also won a Division II national championship in one season at Central Missouri State after stints as an assistant at his alma mater, Arkansas, and a five-season stay as head coach at Texarkana Community College. As a player at Arkansas he was named to the All-Southwest Conference team and honored as the conference's Newcomer of the Year. Coach Van Horn played professional baseball with the Braves organization for three years as an infielder.

Dave Jorn Dave Jorn
Assistant Coach - Pitching

Served as the Hogs' pitching coach from 1983-88 under legendary Norm DeBriyn where six different Razorback pitchers earned All-Southwest Conference honors. Following his first stint with the Razorbacks, he pursued a career in professional baseball as a pitching coach, a head coach and a scout with the New York Mets, Arizona Diamondbacks and the New York Yankees.

Todd Butler Todd Butler
Hitting Coach - Recruiting Coordinator

Todd Butler was the first and only choice to fill Arkansas' vacant assistant coaching position on July 1, 2005. Butler, 39, is widely considered one of the nation's top recruiters and hitting instructors. He enters his first season with the Razorbacks in 2006 after helping secure one of the deepest recruiting classes in the country and possibly the most talented in the history of the Arkansas baseball program. One of the most experienced and talented assistant coaches in college baseball, Butler comes to Fayetteville after two assistant coaching stints (eight total years) at the University of Alabama and three years as the head coach at his alma mater McNesse State. He serves as the Razorbacks' hitting instructor and outfielders coach, while also coordinating Arkansas' recruiting efforts.
